Note: In Wesson, Mississippi, sits a little restaurant called Porches who considers themselves southern hospitality from an era gone by. They have signature dishes that people keep returning for over and over and lemonade green beans is one of them. This is a wonderful make ahead dish for Sunday dinner!

ReplyDeleteI love the unique recipes you always have here. It's hard to picture these beans but I bet they're good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanna. I never knew we had a pretty good place to eat that close to us. We go pass Wesson all the time, but I don't think we've ever been in the town.
ReplyDeleteSounds interesting, I'll have to try it out.
ReplyDeleteI just are at Porches yesterday and their food is divine. They have a cook book but were out when I was there. I have a friend in Wesson that will pick one up for me next week when they come in. Maybe we can lobby for Porches to offer it online.

These are delicious! Wesson has a huge flea market the third Sat in Oct and Porches is a wonderful place to eat after you have shopped! I love lemon and never thought of combining it with green beans--great combination.
