Cookbook: Paula Deen's My Cookbook For Kids

My friend and I were shopping in a cute little shop in Atlanta when I spotted this cookbook. It is Paula Deen's cookbook for kids. I knew I had to buy it for Little Guy. First of all, he loves Paula Deen. And as you all know, he loves to cook!

I gave it to him on his birthday and he has been cooking since the moment it landed in his hands. The first recipe he made was Paula's Peanut Butter Cookies.

They are amazingly simple and wonderfully delicious.

Paula's Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg

Directions
Mix all the ingredients together. Form dough into balls. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Yummy!

On Saturday night he made supper for us and used Paula's recipe for penne pasta and homemade sauce.

I love that the cookbook has very detailed kid friendly photos showing everything you will need to make the recipes.

Little Guy has been making list of ingredients he needs for more recipes he wants to try this week.

This is one sweet deal! Big Guy is learning to grill and Little Guy is cooking. Woo hoo!

That's great that Little Guy loves to cook. I do love it when a man knows how to cook.
