Note: I hate how much it costs to buy items on your grocery list that you don't actually eat. Nonstick sprays are needed but so expensive. I also hate the chemical spray that I feel enveloped by every time I use it. I found this recipe on The Grocery Cart. Saved enough money doing this to buy a 2 liter coke, popcorn and $1 movie for our movie night! That in itself was worth it!
Homemade Pam
Ingredients:
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup vegetable shortening
½ cup flour
Directions:
Beat with mixer until it becomes white and fluffy. Store in an airtight container in your cupboard until ready to use. Brush onto your pan with a pastry or silicone brush. Your stuff will NEVER stick again.
