Spicy Potato Soup

Note: My friend Sheri makes the best soups. This is one of hers. Soup is comfort food.

Spicy Potato Soup

Ingredients:
2 lbs. ground beef
4 cups peeled potatoes, cubed
2 small onions, chopped
3 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
4 cups water
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tp 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Directions:
In large pot, brown ground beef; drain. Add potatoes, onion and tomato sauce. Stir in water, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until the potatoes are tender and the soup has thickened.
