Praline Sauce

Note: Pralines... they are a Southern staple. I love this sauce because you can put it over ice cream or pound cake... or both. Yummy!

Praline Sauce

Ingredients:
3 tbsp butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup half-and-half
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla
Ice cream

Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add sugar. Cook 5-8 min., stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and gradually stir in half-and-half. Cook 1 min. and remove from heat. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Serve over ice cream.

Yummy. I just linked over from your Saucy blog. Oh, I like this site. Lots of fun ideas. I also made the Saucy blog roll this week. Fun!! BTW, I am starting a Foodie Blog Carnival on Tuesdays. It is called "Tempt My Tummy Tuesday". You have such great recipes, I hope you will consider joining the carnival. I wouldn't normally solicit traffic. So, I hope you won't be offended. I just thought you would be a great person to participate. So, I hope you will come over and do so.
